Defending champion Tiger Woods has been grouped with former winner Paul Lawrie and Justin Rose for the first two rounds of the British Open at Carnoustie this week.

Irish hopeful Padraig Harrington, meanwhile, has been drawn with Scottish amateur Richie Ramsay and former USPGA champion David Toms.

Darren Clarke will partner last year's runner-up Chris DiMarco and Chad Campbell, while Paul McGinley will play alongside JJ Henry and John Senden.

Elsewhere, Graeme McDowell will play with Ryder Cup veteran Jose Maria Olazabal and Zach Johnson, while David Higgins partners Graeme Storm and Kevin Sadler and Justin Kehoe will feature alongside David Gleeson and Mattias Eliasson.
