Disappointment for young Irish golfers

There was disappointment all round for Ireland's trio of golfers at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Regional Championships this week, despite some good individual performances.

Kilkeel, Co. Down's Danielle McVeigh, representing Texas A&M University, and Kent State University's Carlow sisters Tara and Karen Delaney all missed out on places in American collegiate women's golf's national finals.
