The rain is holding off on day two of the Spanish Open in Madrid.

Half the field had to complete their first round this morning, including Frenchman Gregory Bourdy who is the clubhouse leader on five under par alongside Stuart Little and Richard Bland.

Nick Dougherty is currently six under after 14.

Paul McGinley is still the best of the Irish on two-under, while David Higgins, Gary Murphy Graeme McDowell are one shot further back.

Damien McGrane is level-par but Peter Lawrie is four-over-par.
