Ulster aim for girls Interpro

Ulster look to capture their third successive girls' Interprovincial title when the three-day tournament starts at Laytown/Bettystown Golf Club, Co Meath, 11-13 April 2007.

Twelve-year-old twins Leona and Lisa Maguire will make their Interprovincial debut at under-18 level having represented their Province at under 15 level last year.

Missing from last year’s line up will be Stephanie Meadow who is attending school in the USA while experienced girls International Victoria Bradshaw should lead the team to victory on Friday evening.

Nearest challengers Leinster will look to their International Louise Mernagh to mount a challenge as the team is lead by experienced Ladies International Sinead Keane from The Curragh. Munster have international Sarah Cunningham in their ranks while Connacht will look to Kate Gallagher to lead the way to regaining the title surrendered to Ulster back in 2005.

This year’s tournament takes place on the challenging links at Laytown/Bettystown and with a par 73 track over 6,050 yards, Friday's winners will be worthy champions of this highly competitive opener to the 2007 season.
