Australian Adam Groom and Indian Rahil Gangjee lead after opening rounds of 66, six under par, in the Open championship international qualifier at Sentosa in Singapore today.

Five places at Carnoustie in July are up for grabs and the pair go into the second and final round one ahead of Japan’s Sushi Ishigaki, Digvijay Singh of India and Australian Lee Won Joon.
