Anton Haig won a three-way play-off to clinch the Johnnie Walker Classic in Phuket, edging out fellow South African Richard Sterne and England’s Oliver Wilson in a thrilling climax at the Blue Canyon County Club.

Haig birdied the last with a six-foot putt and watched as both Wilson and Sterne missed chances on the final green as the trio completed 36 holes level at 13-under par, one shot clear of Retief Goosen.
