Snedeker performance overshadows Tiger's return

Tiger Woods carded two eagles and four birdies on his return to golf at Torrey Pines on Thursday - but he did not even come close to matching the performance of fellow American Brandt Snedeker.

The 26-year-old US Tour rookie began the Buick Invitational by equalling the North Course record with an 11-under-par 61 for a two-stroke lead over Korean Charlie Wi.
