Harrington makes his move
Padraig Harrington took advantage of a nervy start to the third round by overnight leader Phillip Price to move to the top of the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship leaderboard today.
Price carded a bogey on the first while playing partners Shiv Kapur and Harrington both shot birdies to enable the Irishman to move one stroke clear at the top at 10 under.
Meanwhile, Retief Goosen and Nick Dougherty both made good starts after disappointing rounds yesterday.
In sunny and calm conditions, the duo both carded two birdies after four holes to move to third on the leaderboard.
Paul Casey shot successive birdies on the first and second to move onto seven under after five holes while Colin Montgomerie made a solid start, carding two birdies in his opening nine holes and is six under.
Chris DiMarco’s chances of defending his title at the Abu Dhabi Golf Course By Sheraton look to be slipping away as he could only make par in his first seven holes.
