Stenson has wind in his sails

Strong winds and driving rain were not what Ryder Cup star Henrik Stenson had in mind for the World Cup in Barbados, but the leaderboard threw up few surprises after the opening round.

Stenson and Carl Pettersson fired a seven-under-par 64 to share the lead with South Africa and Argentina after Thursday’s fourballs at Sandy Lane.
