Wie misses another cut

Michelle Wie’s attempts to compete with the men suffered a blow when she missed the cut in the Casio Open in Japan.

The Hawaii-born 17-year-old, who opened with a round of 81, carded an 80 in the second round to lie 100th of the 101 entrants on 17 over par.
