Clarke portrait auction to raise money for cancer charity

A special painting of Irish golfer Darren Clarke in action in this years Ryder Club is to be auctioned for the Action Cancer charity this weekend.

The auction will take place at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Regional agm dinner in the Manor House Hotel in Fermanagh.

The 42” wide x 32” painting was donated by Omagh based artist and Director of Spiresart, Colm F. Mac Rory and is valued at an estimated minimum of £5,000 (€7,406).

“We are delighted that Colm has kindly donated this painting of Darren Clarke toward the very special work that Action Cancer does in Northern Ireland,” said John Friel, FSB regional chairman.

“If anyone wishes to put a bid in for the painting we would like them to contact us before November 25.”
