Ochoa wins Samsung championship

Lorena Ochoa overcame a three-stroke deficit to win the Samsung World Championship, denying Annika Sorenstam a sixth victory at the event in Palm Desert, California.

The Mexican fired a seven-under-par 65 in her final round at Bighorn Golf Club to win by two strokes, picking up her fifth win of the season on the LPGA Tour with a 16-under 272 total.
