Padraig Harrington is best placed of the Irish competitors heading into the second day of the Dunhill Links Championship today.

The Dubliner carded an opening-round 66 yesterday to end the day on six under par, three shots adrift of leader Paul Casey.

Damien McGrane and Paul McGinley both finished up on one under par.
