Warren is hot shot

Scot Marc Warren’s approach to the final hole of the EnterCard Scandinavian Masters in Sweden has been voted the European Tour’s RBS Shot of the Month for August.

The 25-year-old needed to birdie the last to catch leader Robert Karlsson and force a play-off.

After pulling his drive into the trees, Warren cut a seven-iron to six feet, holed the putt and went on to take the title.

In second place was Henrik Stenson’s five-iron approach to the 18th green in the play-off for the BMW International Open in Munich, and third was Retief Goosen for his four-iron on the same hole for eagle and a place in the play-off.
