Woosnam hails success

Ian Woosnam tonight heralded Europe’s latest Ryder Cup triumph as “the greatest week in history.”

That might have been overstating it a little bit, but Europe’s 18.5-9.5 victory at the K Club in Ireland matched their biggest-ever win – in Detroit two years ago.
