Garcia makes it four for four

Sergio Garcia and Luke Donald have beaten Phil Mickelson and David Toms by 2&1in today's Ryder Cup foursomes match at the K Club.

Overcoming a shaky start to share the opening six holes, the European pair were gifted the seventh when Toms fluffed a chip on the way to a double bogey six. The former USPGA winner made amends on the next by following in Donald for birdie but another Donald putt on the ninth doubled the advantage at the turn.
