Midlands golfers set for finals battle

The cream of Irish ladies’ golfing talent from across the midlands district will this week battle it out at Birr Golf Club for a place in the national final of the inaugural AA Insurance Ladies Championships.

Courtown, Edenderry, Moate, Arklow, Rathdowney, Boystown, Cill Dara, Carlow, The Heath, Rosslare and Gowran Park have all qualified for the final to be held this Saturday.
