Women golfers to join men in Mauritius Open

Leading players from the Ladies European Tour have been invited to tee it up alongside the men in the Mauritius Open in December.

The 54-hole event, staged at the Constance Belle Mare Plage resort from December 15-17, will also feature players from the European and Seniors Tour.

A separate category with its own prize fund is on offer for the 21 women, who will be both Ladies Tour winners and the leading players on the money list.

Already qualified to play are Riikka Hakkarainen, Lynnette Brooky, Gwladys Nocera, Veronica Zorzi and Stephanie Arricau.
