Thomas is Bjorn again

Ryder Cup-chasing Thomas Bjorn made a brilliant start to the Johnnie Walker Championship at windy Gleneagles today – and then claimed: “After Winged Foot anything seems easy”.

The Dane, winner of the Irish Open in stormy conditions a month ago, birdied six of his first eight holes on his return from finishing 48th in the US Open.
