Cloudy start to Madeira third round

Play was suspended in the third round of the Madeira Island Open this morning because of cloudy conditions at the hilltop Santo da Serra course.

The opening two groups were affected and had to return to the clubhouse after playing one hole.

Gary Murphy and Felipe Aguiar of Chile as well as South Africa’s Hennie Otto and Stuart Little were affected by the poor weather.
