Monty on the march at Wentworth

Colin Montgomerie quickly marched into a handy lead when he began his bid for the £1m (€1.5m) jackpot – golf’s richest prize – at a wet Wentworth.

Montgomerie faced Australian Mark Hensby in the first round of the HSBC World Match Play Championship and with a two-under-par front nine of 33 turned three-up.
