Westwood back on form with a 63

Lee Westwood put the disappointment of the final major of the season behind him with a superb 63 – his lowest ever round in America – in the third round of the NEC world championship in Akron today.

And he then had to wait to see whether it gave him any sort of chance of winning the first prize tomorrow.
