Mickelson sets seal on 'amazing week'

Phil Mickelson grabbed a closing birdie to win the US PGA championship, his second major, today and said: “This has been an absolutely amazing week.”

Forced into an extra day because of thunderstorms Mickelson birdied the last with a marvellous chip to two feet to pip Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn and Australian Steve Elkington.
