Tiger Woods found his lead trimmed to three shots as he began his third round of the Open championship at St Andrews today.

Tiger Woods found his lead trimmed to three shots as he began his third round of the Open championship at St Andrews today.

Woods led by four from local favourite Colin Montgomerie overnight and watched as a number of challengers threatened, but ultimately failed to post a very low score early on.
