Donald delivers 'solid start'

After one hole of the British Open championship Luke Donald had one thought in his mind.

Playing partners Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, aged 65 and 55 respectively, had both started with birdies and Donald said to himself: “I hope I don’t get beat too badly."
