Scotland's Lawrie claims return to form

Most golfers ranked outside the world’s top 200 would get some funny looks if they started talking about winning next week’s British Open championship.

But Paul Lawrie is different – he has already done it. And not only that. The 1999 champion, who remains Europe’s last winner of a major, has also tasted victory at St Andrews in the dunhill links championship five years ago.
