South African Hennie Otto three-putted his last two greens to close with a three-under-par 68 for a share of the lead in the first round of the St Omer Open in France.

The Boksburg-born player finished bogey-bogey to slip from five under after initially going to the turn in 31 with three birdies and an eagle at the par-five seventh.
