Ratliffe reclaims Seniors Open crown

Australian Noel Ratliffe has won the AIB Irish Seniors Open at The Heritage, Killenard, on a score of six under par.

Argentina's Luis Carbonetti was second, on four under, with Scottish pair John Chillas and Sam Torrance coming in at third and fourth respectively.

Eamonn Darcy and Des Smyth were best of the Irish, tying for fifth on level par.

Sixty-year-old Ratcliffe won this title in 2003 and finished third last year.

He claimed the first prize of €60,000.
