Montgomerie looks for top five finish at Wentworth

Colin Montgomerie should earn an exemption into next month’s US Open with a top-five finish in this week’s BMW Championship at Wentworth.

The Ryder Cup star has been battling all season to climb back into the world’s top 50. He failed to do it in time for the Masters last month, but goes into the final counting event for the US Open 53rd in the rankings.
