Entering the third and final round with a one-shot lead, Weibring carded three birdies an 15 pars for a 15-under-par 201 total and a two-shot victory at the Bruno’s Memorial Classic.

It was Weibring’s third Champions Tour victory and he has now won one event in each of the past three years. He finished two shots clear of Tom Jenkins and Tom Kite. Jenkins fired a six-under 66 and Kite signed for a 70.

Mark McNulty finished fourth at 11 under after a 66 and Dana Quigley struggled to a 73, his first round over par at this event, and finished fifth at 10 under.
