Scott holding nerve in third round
Adam Scott today quickly responded to the threat to his lead in the delayed third round of the Johnnie Walker Classic.
Scott added a second round 66 to his opening course-record 63 at Pine Valley for a 15-under-par halfway total of 129, four shots clear of American Gary Rusnak.
South African Richard Sterne was a shot further back following a 66 with double US Open champion Retief Goosen, New Zealand’s Michael Campbell and Spanish Open winner Peter Hanson all on nine under after playing their first and second rounds on Friday.
Ireland's Peter Lawrie is five under after 13 holes today.
