The Masters once again began its bid to make up for lost time today – under grey skies at Augusta.

After a five-and-a-half-hour delay at the start of the tournament on Thursday the entire afternoon and evening’s play was abandoned yesterday because of more thunderstorms in the area, although the course escaped the worst of them.
