Els moves ahead in Dubai

Ernie Els has moved into a one-shot lead at the Dubai Desert Classic after carding a six-under-par opening-round 66 today.

English duo David Howell and Sam Osbourne are tied with Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiminez for second place on five under par.
