Lyle gives up on captaincy hopes

After an eventful start to the Dubai Desert Classic Sandy Lyle spoke today about the disappointment of missing out on the Ryder Cup captaincy again.

With Ian Woosnam and Nick Faldo being named for the next two matches the 46-year-old doubts if he will ever be given the job now.
