Rain threatens Nissan Open

The rain-battered Nissan Open in Los Angeles suffered another two-hour delay today and looked increasingly likely to become just a 36-hole event – the first on the US Tour for nine years.

Brian Davis, the Londoner who led the first round following a six under par 65, had not been able to hit a shot since 2pm Thursday.
