Justin Rose tumbled into a tie for eighth place, five shots behind leader Shigeki Maruyama, after a disappointing two-over-par 72 in the third round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Justin Rose tumbled into a tie for eighth place, five shots behind leader Shigeki Maruyama, after a disappointing two-over-par 72 in the third round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.

The 24-year-old had 11 birdies in his first two rounds at the Waialae Country Club and started the day just one shot behind Maruyama.
