World Cup grudge match on the cards

A final-round clash between England’s Paul Casey and Luke Donald and the United States pair of Scott Verplank and Bob Tway became a distinct possibility at the World Cup in Seville today.

In view of Verplank’s response to Casey’s criticisms of Americans, such a head-to-head was bound to have an extra edge to it.
