After a first-round 65 in soggy conditions in Miyazaki, Woods finally dropped a shot at the 16th hole on day two but the former world number one is still in front.

Kaname Yokoo of Japan also had a 67 to climb into second place on five under while American Christian Pena is a further stroke back after a sizzling seven-under 63 on Friday.
