Kuehne and Sluman win Shootout in Florida

Hank Kuehne and Jeff Sluman carded a final-round 11-under-par 61 to retain the Franklin Templeton Shootout title in Florida.

The pair completed the 54-hole event at 29 under par on 187 to win by two strokes from Steve Flesch and Justin Leonard, who shot their third straight round of 63.

Loren Roberts and Mark Calcavecchia took third place a further stroke back after a 61.

Kuehne said: “Its been a fantastic experience for me again.”

Bill and Jay Haas shared fourth place with Greg Norman and Scott McCarron, while veteran duo Nick Faldo and Fred Funk finished in a tie for 10th after a final-round 63.
