Overnight European Tour Qualifying School finals leader Wakefield maintained his place at the top with a second successive 69.

It was Norwegian Lars Petter Brovold who grabbed the limelight however as he fired an 11-under-par 61 to equal the lowest ever score posted in the tour school finals.
