Harrington suffering from thumb injury
Padraig Harrington was worried tonight that a thumb injury suffered when he smashed it into a tree trunk would wreck his chances of a £1m (€1.44m) jackpot this weekend.
The Dubliner beat Ryder Cup team-mate Thomas Levet in the quarter-finals of the HSBC World Match Play Championship at Wentworth but was in severe pain for the last nine and a half holes.
