It's no easy ride for Monty

Ryder Cup hero Colin Montgomerie looked certain to crash out of The Heritage tournament today after slumping to a second-round 77.

It would be a second successive missed cut for the 41-year-old – but in between, of course, came his brilliant performance at Oakland Hills and that is what he will remember September 2004 for.
