Dougherty picks golf over high life

One of Britain’s brightest golfing prospects spoke today about the damage he had done to his career enjoying the good life.

Nick Dougherty, the 22-year-old from Liverpool who was Luke Donald’s partner in the 1999 Walker Cup in America, admitted to crying earlier this year as he fell into depression and feared for his future.
