The USA team have pulled the score back to 7-3 in the fourballs at the 35th Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills today.

Tiger Woods and Chris Riley proved too strong for Ireland's Darren Clarke and newcomer Ian Poulter winning 4 and 3.

Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood fared better for Europe, however, battling to a half point against the pairing of Jay Haas and Chris DiMarco.

The USA is ahead in the final two matches, which are still in play.
