Harrington and Monty win another point

Padraig Harrington and Colin Montgomerie have clinched another point for Europe at the Ryder Cup this evening.

The Celtic pairing - in brilliant from this morning when they beat Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in the fourballs - beat Davis Love III and Fred Funk 4 n 2.

The European point came soon after Chris DiMarco and Jay Haas secured a first full point for the US with their win in the foursomes against Miguel Angel Jiminez and Thomas Levet.

The US pairing won 3 and 2.

The score now stands at Europe 4.5 USA 1.5.
