Europe enjoy commanding lead after morning
Chris Riley and Stewart Cink halved with Paul McGinley and Luke Donald to leave Europe a commanding 3.5 to 0.5 lead in the 35th Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills after the morning fourball.
In the only morning game featuring two new caps – Chris Riley and Luke Donald - the first five holes were shared in par figures. But when Paul McGinley, the 2002 match-winner, holed from 12 feet at the next, Europe led in all four games.
