McDowell makes perfect start

Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell went from three ahead to five clear on the first hole of the final round in the Linde German Masters in Cologne today.

McDowell’s birdie against Padraig Harrington’s bogey took the 25-year-old closer to the €497,700 first prize.
