Cink holds lead at NEC Invitational

Stewart Cink leads the NEC Invitational World Golf Championships as he nears the end of the third round.

Cink is 10 under after 16 holes, just two shots clear of David Toms, eight under after 17 holes.

Tiger Woods is seven under after 16 holes.

Earlier Toms narrowed the gap to two when he birdied the 14th and Cink bogeyed the 13th, while Woods was three behind and needing all his powers of recovery as his driving accuracy deserted him again.

He birdied the 10th and 12th, had a bogey in between and then sank par putts of 10 and 25 feet after finding trouble off the tee.
