Irish national golf coach resigns

Geoff Dixon, who was appointed by the Golfing Union of Ireland in June 2003, has resigned from the position of national coach.

Geoff Dixon, who was appointed by the Golfing Union of Ireland in June 2003, has resigned from the position of national coach.

Previously Dixon spent five years as PGA Training Manager based at the UK's National Training Academy within the Belfry complex.

He also spent 10 years working as a coach in Scandinavia, later as an advisor to the Argentine Golf Federation and also delivered coaching seminars in Germany, Belgium and Columbia.
