Australian Brett Rumford romped to a four-shot victory in the Nissan Irish Open at County Louth today.

Only 103rd on the Order of Merit and 267th in the world, Rumford fired a closing round of 67 – the joint best of the day – to collect the £210,514 first prize with a 14-under-par total of 274.
